UNOBVIOUS LAB- LISBON

I am now in an apartment in Santos-O-Velho in Lisbon. The hallway and living room have the stereotypical white and blue Portuguese tiles... just perfect. Its tall walls and windows let in a cool breeze that contrasts the August heat outside. Walking around the neighborhood is nothing less than inspirational. The lively streets, the multicultural smells, and the colorful architecture host an increasing number of characters peaking out the windows to watch the activity down below. As I reminisce about the cities I have lived in during the past three or so months, I paint these three works on paper. I call them Málaga, Istanbul and Lisboa.

I found an art space a few blocks away where I can show these to the public: UNOBVIOUS Lab. They will be there until February next year.
